Yangon
The
town ever green and cool with tropical trees, parks and
beautiful lakes. It was founded by Alungpaya on the side of
small village called Dagon, when he conquered lower Myanmar in
1755. The name of “Yangon” means “End of Strife” which has
anglicized to Yangoon. in the present day we called Yangon.
There are regular daily flights to Yangon from Bangkok and
Singapore. Charter flights and cruise ships are granted visa on
arrival on prior arrangement. Tour Hilighted include – Shwedagon
Pagoda, Kabar Aye Pagoda, MaharPasana Guha, Sule Pagoda, City
Hall, Scort Market, Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda, Gems Museum, National
Museum and many other interesting places.
Mandalay
The
centre of Myanmar culture, the last capital of Myanmar Kings, is
located in central Myanmar, 688 kilometer north of Yangon. It
was built in 1857 by King Mindon. Today it is the second largest
city boasting its rich culture heritage and also the commercial
centre with railway, river and air lines link to all parts of
the country. Mandalay is only and hour’s flight from Yangon by
road it takes about 12 hours by express coaches and about 14
hours by train. There are so many places to go around Mandalay
and its surroundings.
Amarapura

Amarapura situated at 11 kilometer south of Mandalay, the
capital city of Konbaung dynasty. Inwa is the another ancient
capital, knows as the Kingdom of Inwa during the second Myanmar
Empire.

Sagaing
Sagaing lies 21 km south west of Mandalay beside the Ayeyarwaddy
river. The Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are
over 500 monasteries, a retreat for some 6000 monks and nuns.
Mingunn

Mingunn located about 11 km up river from Mandalay on the
western banks of the Ayeyarwaddy river, well-known for the 19th
ton Mingunn Bell.

Pyin Oo Lwin
Pyin Oo Lwin, over 1000 m above see level is a popular hill
station about 69 km away from Mandalay.
Monywa

About 136km to the west of Mandalay is Monywa, the commercial
centre of Chindwin valley.

Bagan
The main tourist attraction in Myanmar. It is located on the
eastern bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river also being the capital of
fist Myanmar Empire, dotted with pagodas and temples of the 11th
-13th century.
Inlay Lake

900m above see level is one of the main tourist attraction in
Myanmar. The lake, 22km long and 10km across has a population of
some 150,000, many people who live on floating island and
cottages in the water. It is famous for its scenic beauty and
the unique leg-rowing of the Inthas, the native lake dwellers.
Kyeik Hte Yoo
This Mystical pagoda stands on a gold glide boulder, perched on
the edge of the hill over 1100km above sea-level. It is said
that this pagoda have been built over 2400 years ago since
Buddha life-time. Kyeik Hte Yoo, the town at the foot of the
hill, is about 160km from Yangon.
Mawlamyine

A town, the capital of Mon State, situated at the mouth of the
Thanlwin River. About 34km from Mawlamyine is Thanbyuzayat,
famous for an allied war memorial cemetry for the prisoner of
war who lost their lives by building the famous Death Rail Way
across the river Kwai.

Ngapali Beach
Located on the Rakhine coast near Thandwe. Ngapali is famous for
its unspoilt beach only 30 minutes flights from Yangon.
Myauk U

The town is the capital of old Rakhine Kings, Which become
popular in recent year, famous for its old temple with wall
painting influence Indian culture. It is also accessible by boat
from Sittwe via Ponnakyun and Kyauktaw.
